Recipes: Peanut Butter Chocolate Milkshake & Coffee Cacao Milkshake
Peanut Butter Chocolate Milkshake
Ingredients:
1 frozen banana
2 tbsp hemp protein powder
1 big spoonful of creamy unsweetened peanut butter
1 tbsp cacao nibs
2 dates, pitted
1.5 cup unsweetened almond milk
2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
Optional (omit to make vegan): 1 tbsp whole cream blended with
Optional (omit to make vegan): 3 tbsp whole cream, whipped, separately
Blend all ingredients together. Top with whipped cream I did not rinse out my food processor between the milkshake and the whipping cream and that made it taste really good.
To whip cream, put it in the food processor and blend for a couple of minutes. Careful to stop blending right as it looks fluffy (otherwise it turns to butter and is no good to put on top).
Coffee Cacao Milkshake
1/2 frozen banana
3/4 cup cold coffee
1/4 cup whole cream or vegan milk of your choice
1 tbsp cacao nibs
2 dates, pitted
2 tbsp coconut butter
a 2x2" chunk of extra firm tofu
1 tbsp tahini or nut butter of your choice
Optional (omit to make vegan): 3 tbsp whole cream, whipped, separately
Blend ingredients together then top with whipped cream. Pictured with raspberries on top.
